ETC 695: Educational Technology Capstone

Credit Hours: 3
Format: Online
Semesters Offered: Fall and Spring
Prerequisites: ETC 547, ETC 567, and ETC 666 (or Permission)

The Educational Technology capstone course provides students with an environment to fully plan, design, produce, implement, and evaluate an instructional product that demonstrates their understanding of the concepts, skills, and theoretical framework of the Educational Technology program. It is recommended that students plan to take this course the semester they plan to graduate. Only ONE other course may be taken concurrently with the capstone during that semester.

Students will be expected to use TaskStream to build a portfolio that includes, among other things:

  • artifacts from the ETC program coursework
  • reflections on these artifacts
  • original application letter
  • personal reflection on the program based on the above
